What Unscheduled is.
Unscheduled is a small digital publisher. We make long-form PDF guides on astrology, time, cycles, and ancient wisdom: the technical material, written for readers who want the working version.
The catalog is organized into six lines. Ephemeris is reference. Infradian is cycles. Almanac is place-bound calendar. Kairos is timing and election. Meridian is locational. Unscheduled Business is the trade craft of practice. Each line has its own colour and its own remit.
Every guide is sourced. We name our primary authors: Valens, Ptolemy, Dorotheus, Hesiod, Pliny. We name our modern interlocutors: Brennan, George, Dykes, Tarnas, Hutton, Campion. Where the modern revival disagrees with the Greek, we say so.
The catalog is the work. There are no horoscopes, no membership area, no algorithmic feed. A reader either finds it useful or they move on, and the writing is built so the right reader knows quickly which they are.
Founder note
I started Unscheduled because the books I needed kept arriving on two shelves: scholarship I trusted, and practical guides I could actually use. The catalog is the shelf I built in between.
